Inpatient Treatment
Palmetto Summerville Behavioral Health offers residential inpatient treatment for children, teens, and young adults ages 7 to 21. Our residential treatment program provides 24-hour compassionate mental health care, support and individualized treatment. We offer a place of healing and hope for youth.
What is residential treatment? Who can benefit from it?
Palmetto Summerville Behavioral Health provides safe, structured 24/7 comprehensive psychiatric care which includes thorough psychological and clinical assessment, therapeutic learning environment, and nursing. Children, teens, or young adults who suffer from psychiatric disorders that debilitate their ability to thrive can receive treatment and return to their communities happier, healthier people.
Our approach to care is holistic, individualized and future-focused. Because of this perspective, lengths of stay vary anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months. Upon admission, discharge planning is discussed to get the adolescent managed at a lower level of care when they leave the treatment facility.
